A question for the net wisdom:

Ever since I've had my car, I've never been happy with the way the front
bumper matches the hood.  The hood, headlight covers, and fenders all line up
pretty nicely, but the bumper is about 1/4" higher than the hood.

At some of our local gatherings, I've gone around and looked at the other
cars, some of which have varying degrees of the same problem, some don't.
 Mine's about the worst I've seen.

Anybody know how to adjust this?  The upper bracket the bumper screws into
has a *small* amount of adjustment, but nowhere near enough to make up all
that difference.

Any help would be appreciated.
