The early 1.6L I4 MX-3 motors were 88bhp, the later years were 106bhp.
the 1.8L V6 was always 130.
The 2.5L V6 block (or European 2.0 V6 block) will fit in the MX-3 GS
models as the block is outwardly the same size for all three
displacements. I've seen a few GS models with J-Spec 2.5L motors in them
putting out nearly 250bhp. Something Mazda should have done!
