I'm starting to prepare my 94 R Miata for next years race season.  Got some

time to look at a bunch of racing seats yesterday.  Really liked the feel of

the seats that offered both large side bolsters and some shoulder support like

Sparco PRO 2000 or a Momo, I think it was Acropoulis...    Took some quick

measurements and it looks like anything with shoulder supports isn't going to

fit although it's close.   Some of you out there must have put racing seats in

a Miata - which ones have you shoe horned in or which ones have you tried and

failed.   

Unless my measurements are off I'll probably wind up going with a Sparco Racer.

 Good side bolsters but no shoulder support.  Pretty tight fit.  I'm at 178

pounds and 5'11".  I think if I gain 5 more pounds you'll need a pry bar to get

me out of it.
