Trevor, What kind of wax did you use, and what kind of applicator did you use to apply it? A 'shammy' (chamois) is a bad choice, it keeps dirt particles VERY close to the paint and actually scratches more. My guess is that you introduced the scratches when you applied the wax. Under-certain lights (like in a gas station at night) you can see horrendous scratches on it. Like from the towel used to wipe the wax off. I used a terry-cloth (old bath towel) but it still looks like crap. Woulda shammy work better or worse?
