     Trevor,



     What kind of wax did you use, and what kind of applicator did you use

     to apply it?  A 'shammy' (chamois) is a bad choice, it keeps dirt

     particles VERY close to the paint and actually scratches more.



     My guess is that you introduced the scratches when you applied the

     wax.  Its nothing that Meguiar's swirl remover, cleaner wax, and an

     orbital buffer can't fix!

        My wax job didn't turn at as good as I had thought.



        Under-certain lights (like in a gas station at night)

you can see horrendous scratches on it.  Like from the towel

used to wipe the wax off.



        I used a terry-cloth (old bath towel) but it still

looks like crap.



        Woulda shammy work better or worse?
