I found out that Hilborn has a few NOS BOSS 302 FI manifold castings sitting
on their shelves. These will bolt to 4V heads, but the banks have to be cut
apart because the 351C is wider. The butterflies are 2 3/16 inch dia. This
manifold is not as tall as the current manifolds (5 1/2 inches vs 8 1/2) it
looks like stacks with 90 degree bends could fit under the engine cover.

I've talked to a few people, and the consensus in that this is great for a
400 inch engine, but marginal for a less cubic inches. But I also was told a
good sequential system might help with a smaller inch engine.

The price for the manifold with butterflies fitted, shafts, and some linkage
is $687, but they will knock off 10% if we can find 20 people to buy them
together.

Hilborn will cut them apart for $100 setup, plus $30 per manifold. I don't
know whether or not that's a good deal.

I can send pictures.

Ken
