I am getting some confusing comments over here in  New Zealand some one told me the Pantera's all had 4 valve heads and that this is identified by a 4 on the front of the  cast head.



I looked and mine has a 4 on both heads.



However I lifted the rocker cover and there are only 8 valves a side ( my maths makes me think there should be 16??)



I want to decide what carburetor to put on I'm thinking Holley with secondary vacuum 600 , 650 or 750 cfm but my engine is an unknown as it has never been running in my sight (bought it of the boat from USA missing carb).

PS I should be in Vegas for the meet who's gonner take me for/give me a drive?? Couldn't fly me baby over even if I've got it going by then.
